What to expect:

After confirming an appointment time, you will receive a confirmation email and invoice (please allow a few days for this to come through). 

This 121 training session can take place at your home, our secure field in Chalfont St Giles or a local dog walking space. 

We will listen to your concerns, answer your questions and give you straight forward and practical solutions too management, handling and training for your dog. We believe that prevention is better than cure, so are passionate about ensuring good theoretical and practical knowledge is passed on and life skills training can be implemented to ensure your dog becomes and remains a perfect canine citizen.

Suitable for:

Ideal if you have multiple issues you would like to discuss. Popular for those who have just brought home a puppy or rescue.

These may be arranged at your home, at a local walking space or at our field.

Book an Extended 121:

Suitable for:

Behavioural issues that are just developing in a young dog or new rescue, and could develop into more serious issues. Issues may include; separation related issues, mild anxiety, aggression or reactivity and possessive behaviour. 

  • Veterinary referral obtained in most cases
  • A report is provided post consultation
  • 1 month aftercare support provided
  • Follow ups £65
Whether a short or full consultation is required is at Laura Ward’s discretion. These can be arranged via video call, at your home, park or our private field.

Suitable for:

  • Aggression,
  • Separation issues,
  • Anxiety,
  • Fighting within the same household,
  • Reactive behaviour,
  • Resource guarding.
  • House soiling/spraying (cats)

A full consultation is required in order to give you and your pet the time to establish a history and timeline of the development of the behaviour problem, reach a full understanding of why the problem has developed and theoretical knowledge underpinning behaviour and behaviour change, and set a plan in place as to how to go forward. 

  • Veterinary referral only
  • Report provided post consultation (to the vet and client)
  • 6 months email/phone aftercare support
  • Follow ups £65

What to expect:

  1. After booking you will receive an email confirmation, a client questionnaire and an invoice (please allow a few days for this to come through).
  2. A video call to will be arranged via Zoom (30mins for short or 1.5 hrs for full) to discuss current concerns & history.
  3. The in person session will follow (1 hr for short or 1.5 hrs for full) at your home or an agreed public place.
  4. A Written report to you and your vet will be emailed within 7 days post consultation.
  5. Scheduled after care emails until you feel you are on the right track (up to 6 months) will be arranged, and in many cases in person follow up appointments (£65) will be arranged periodically depending on the level of continued supported needed.
